The major airport of the Silicon Valley is located two miles north of downtown San Jose and is serviced by Alaska, American, America West, Continental, Delta, Horizon Air, Mexicana, Northwest, Southwest, United and United Express.
Airport Courtesy Shuttles departs at designated points approximately every 10 minutes from 5 a.m. - 12 midnight then until- 5 a.m., shuttle buses continue to make a constant loop of the terminals and the parking lots at a reduced schedule.
There are many Door to Door shuttles (San Jose Express Shuttle: 408-370-0701, Santa Clara Airporter: 800-771-7794 are two examples),also free hotel shuttles, limousine services, taxis, rail service and buses serve the south bay area and connect to San Francisco and Oakland International Airports.

Light rail service is provided 7 days a week from early morning to midnight. They operate every 10 minutes weekdays; every 15 minutes Saturdays and Sundays and holidays. Service is provided every 30 minutes on all evenings. The 33 light rail stations are served by of VTA buses, plus free parking spaces are provided at the 10 light rail stations in South San Jose.
